Trayectoria profesional Al inicio de la Guerra Civil (1936-1939) se trasladó junto a su familia al pequeño pueblo de Pajares (cerca del puerto de montaña del mismo nombre, entre la provincia de León y Asturias) y, a su término, a Lugo, donde fijó su residencia. A los diecisiete años pasó a Barcelona. Comenzó estudios de Filosofía y de Náutica, aunque sólo concluyó los segundos.
