Formación y trayectoria académica Licenciado en Filosofía y Letras por la Universidad de Barcelona, trabajó como profesor ayudante en esta misma Universidad. En 1927 se trasladó a la Universidad de Madrid, donde ocupó la cátedra de Lenguas Hebreas hasta 1932, fecha en que regresó a Barcelona para ocupar ese mismo puesto, que ya había ganado en 1925.
